The filming of season 4 starts next month, and True Blood are casting for new characters at the moment. Rumours say there will be 6 new characters, both humans and others.

The team behind True Blood are currently looking for the following characters:
- Marnie, a palm reader possessed by a witch
- Andy's sister Portia, a good-looking lawyer
- Naomi, an Asian-American cagefighter
- Queen Mab, a beautiful but volatile ruler of a fantasy land
- Emory Broome, an African-American conservative character
- Suzanne McKittrick, who throws a party to bond with "her kind"
