Snoop Dogg tribute "Oh Sookie" True Blood Music Video

Snoop Dogg fancies himself the “Bon Pimp” of “Bon Temps” and even created a music video for True Blood that bled out rumors of a possible role. We know that we would love to see Snoop order Sookie a “gin and juice at Merlotte’s” but will this blood-thirsty dog be getting a bite of Sookie with a cameo on True Blood?

Don’t shed tears of blood all over the carpet, but the answer is probably no. Sam Trammel who plays Sam Merlotte on the show was pretty adamant that Snoop would be sticking to material about gang-banging and not fang-banging:

“Apparently Snoop has wanted to be on the show from the beginning, but I don’t think [creator] Alan Ball is going to let that happen. Having such a high-profile person appear in the show, I think it would take us all out of Bon Temps. [Alan] doesn’t need to cast Snoop Dogg to get people to watch. We’re glad he watches and likes the show though.”

How sad. Maybe he’s just jealous of Snoop’s doggy-style. Let’s see if Snoop can out-pimp Sam Merlotte.
